Welcome to Our Children & Youth Groups!
At Bulwell United Reformed Church, we believe children and young people are an important part of our church family. We offer a range of groups to help them learn about God, make friends, and have fun in a safe and welcoming space.
Here’s a little bit about what we do:
Little Stars Baby & Toddler Group (Ages 0-4)
A friendly group for babies, toddlers, and their grown-ups! Come along for toys, crafts, dressing up, and coffee time for adults. A great way to make new friends and enjoy playtime together.
Wacky Wednesdays (School year: 3 to 6)
Our lively group for primary school children! Full of games, crafts, stories, and snacks, Wacky Wednesdays is a great place to have fun, be creative, and learn about God.
Activity & Play Session (School year: Nursery, Reception, Year 1 & Year 2)
A relaxed after-school group for younger children and their families. We enjoy Lego building, crafts, cooking, games, and Bible-based fun. Parents and carers stay for the session, so it’s a lovely way to spend time together.
Friday Youth (School year: 7 to 11 & up to 18yrs)
Exclusive for young people attached to the church, Friday Youth is a space for our teens to hang out, play games, chat, and explore faith together. It’s a chance to grow in faith and friendship in a safe and supportive environment. (Please note: this is not an open youth club.)
Messy Church (All ages, family-focused)
Messy Church is a fun, creative, and interactive way to explore Bible stories together as a family. Join us for crafts, activities, storytelling, and a shared meal — all designed for all ages to enjoy. Whether you come with children, grandchildren, or on your own, everyone is welcome!
Children & Youth Church (All ages)
Our Sunday morning group for children and young people to explore Bible stories, get creative, and discover how faith fits into everyday life.
